W. Dale Connally, PhD
Department Chair Professor Recreation and Leisure Services Program Director
Dr. Dale Connally is a Professor in Recreation and Leisure Services and Chair of the Department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation. He also serves as the Program Director for Recreation and Leisure Services. Dr. Connally received his doctorate from the University of New Mexico in Recreation Resource Management. His master’s and bachelor’s degrees are from Baylor University. He is active in the Christian Society for Kinesiology, Sport, and Leisure Studies, having held several leadership positions. He is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional and attends conferences with Athletic Business and the Texas Recreation and Park Society to maintain certification. His research and service focus is recreation and sport ministry.
