Pre-Athletic Training

The Health Science Studies Pre-Athletic Training Concentration allows students who are interested in pursuing a career in athletic training to complete their bachelors and Master of Athletic Training program in a total of five years. Undergraduate curriculum integrates coursework in human sciences, applied anatomy and physiology, and nutrition. All pre-requisite coursework for the Master of Athletic Training program is included in the undergraduate degree requirements. Students must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 CGPA to remain in good standing for this concentration.
Health Professions
Degree Plan
The Health Professions concentration of the Health Science Studies major offers students the opportunity to complete basic sciences required by the majority of health profession programs and provides more flexibility and less rigor as compared to other concentrations. This concentration requires students to add a minor, and students must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 CGPA to remain in good standing.
