Seth Koster, DO is a Baylor alumnus, practicing physician, and the instructor for the BIO 5220 Pathophysiology MSMS summer course. While at Baylor, he was involved in a wide number of extracurricular activities, including BYX, BIC, Christian Healthcare Society, Intramurals, and the Baylor Student Senate. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science Studies, with a minor in Medical Humanities, Dr. Koster obtained his medical degree at A.T. Still University - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona in 2013. While finishing his residency in Family Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in Lafayette, he began moonlighting in the Emergency Department. Since that time, Koster has enjoyed different full-time roles, both as a Family Practice physician and an ER doctor. Dr. Koster also has special interests in Sports Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). He holds active certifications in Advanced Cardiac, Trauma, and both Adult/Pediatric Life Support. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), Texas Medical Association (TMA), and McLennan County Medical Society (MCMS). Dr. Koster currently resides in Waco, TX with his wife Allison (a sonographer at Waco Family Medicine), daughter Emma, and their two dogs.
