Savannah Rauschendorfer, PhD

Dr. Savannah Rauschendorfer received a BS in Biology from Indiana University, MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami, and her PhD in Exercise Physiology from The University of Texas, Austin. She went on to complete her postdoctoral fellowship in Houston, Texas at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Department of Pediatric Research.
Dr. Rauschendorfer joined the faculty at Baylor University in the Fall of 2024 as a tenure tracked assistant professor. Rauschendorfer aims to be a leading contributor in the field of exercise oncology and help establish new standards of cancer care and prevention. As the director of the Clinical Exercise Oncology (C.E.O.) Laboratory, her research focuses on the early detection and prevention of the off-target toxicities of chemotherapeutics on vascular health, skeletal muscle, adipose tissue and the subsequent clinical consequence such as the development of comorbid diseases and cardiovascular dysfunction.
