Judson Threlkeld, MD

Judson Threlkeld, MS, MD, has been involved with Baylor's MSMS program since its inception, serving as the inaugural Adjunct Clinical Advisor for students in the Physician Track. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Baylor and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. Threlkeld was President of his UTMB Medical School Class and was also over the Student Advisory Committee for medical school admissions and applicants.
During his Fellowship Threlkeld was also employed as part-time faculty instructor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Mississippi (UMC) in Jackson, MS. During Radiology Residency, he was appointed as a faculty instructor with Washington State University (Pullman, WA), teaching imaging science and anatomy.
Threlkeld has maintained a private practice for the past 25 years as an Interventional Radiologist, was President of his radiology practice (which he co-founded), and simultaneously was the Medical Director for a cardiac/vascular cath lab. Dr. Threlkeld founded several medical device companies, most notably Sapheon, Inc., which was acquired by Medtronic/Covidien in 2014, and he is now opening up men’s health clinics through the Western United States.
