Dr. Dustin Fowler is the MSMS course instructor for BIO 5432 Immunology and Microbiology. He is a Baylor alumnus who majored in Biochemistry (cum laud) and conducted research on the immunotherapeutic activity of a conjugate of Toll-like receptor 7 ligand with faculty mentor Dr. Robert R. Kane. Dr. Fowler attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, then endeavored a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed his fellowship trained in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he served as chief fellow. 

Dr. Fowler has a private medical practice serving the many residents of Central Texas—including those Baylor students new to Central Texas from places like California who have never experienced allergies before! Originally from the DFW area and a lifelong Texas Rangers fan, Dr. Fowler and his wife love their community here in Waco and enjoy spending time with their children and church family.
